VR Escape Rooms

Welcome!

                                                                    

This is a first-person VR escape room game where you step into different locked spaces and solve puzzles to escape. Look for clues, test your logic, and interact with your surroundings , all inside an immersive VR world.

                                                                    

Right now, the game includes:

A Main Menu.

Level 1: An old Victorian bedroom.

Level 2: A space station.

Level 3: An old office.

                                                                    

Use of AI:

- In Game:

                  - AI Voiceover for one Puzzle

                  - AI Rhyming Clue (Text)

                  - AI Puzzle Hint (Text)

- Other:

Controls:

Movement	Left Joystick
Camera Turn	Right Joystick
Menu Interaction	Left/Right Trigger
Grab Objects	Left/Right Grab Trigger
In-Game Menu	Left Menu Button

                                                                   

Game Only Supports Oculus Headset for now, and has been only tested using meta quest link , might not work with steam VR, not sure to be honest.

Game was play tested On 2 setups:

r5 7500f + rtx 4060 8 Gb PC,

ci5-12 + rtx 3050 4gb Laptop, 

                                                                   

Known Bugs and Workarounds:

Bug:

- Janky Magnet and Key Interactions 

Workaround:

- When the key is near exit try to guide it slowly with the magnet so it doesn't fly off

Will update as more bugs get found.

                                                                    

Will try to Add:

- Highlight option to outline interactables.

- Hints.

- A better way to adjust height instead of slider in the in-game menu,

- Open to Suggestions.
